This manual contains information for the color HP DesignJet 2000CP, 2500CP, 2800CP, 3000CP, 3500CP and 3800CP printers. Throughout this Manual, these printers will be referred to as the HP DesignJet CP Series Printers.
Concerning the hardware perspective, DesignJets 2800CP and 3800CP are basically DesignJets 2000CP and 3000CP (respectively) connected with an external Fiery RIP. Therefore, all information applicable to the DesignJets 2000CP/3000CP will also be applicable to DesignJets 2800CP/3800CP.
The procedures described in this manual are to be performed by HP-certified service personnel only. Part numbers for plotter options, accessories and service parts are located in chapter 7.
